Alright, here we go another BB5! Now I think some of the other subscription boxes have set the bar pretty high and well that being said I think BB5 needs to step up their game!
// FREEMAN: FACIAL EXFOLIATING SCRUB. Now I am pretty sure these retail for approx. $1.50..at wal-mart! That being said I don't mind having a mask like this laying around just in case of a trip or just a ladies night for myself.
// ROSEBUD SALVE. I was excited to receive this I wont lie I have wanted to try it out for a while now always seeing it when I check out at sephora! Never really picked it up though, I believe it retails for approx. $8..Not to pricey.
// PUR-LISSE: ESSENTIAL DAILY MOISTURIZER. This is a ridiculous sample size I know.. I could have received this free at a beauty counter or even drug store! Not to mention the rest of the items are the same! I don't see how this is deluxe. I will try it out but not thrilled about it!
// LA FRESH: WATERPROOF MAKEUP REMOVER. A single wipe? Really? Could you not splurge for us and offer us 2 or 3 at least!
// SUPERGOOP: SUNSCREEN SWIPE. Again, a single wipe? Why ? Seriously? Am I not a paying customer!
Sorry guys near the end there I just got fed up! I am really disappointed, the boxes don't seem to be getting any better.. I thought for the past two months okay maybe they need some time to establish the business but, its been how long now? I don't know like I said above they need to top their game up.. for it looks like they are loosing a lot of customers!
I signed up for the year so I will stick with them for the year I saved in the long run so thank goodness.. and I still have hope that they will better their boxes!
Did you get a BB5 this month? What did you think? Are you sticking with them?
I wasn't too impressed either. They need to send out better products and larger sized samples.
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note, I too was excited by the Rosebud salve. I have a similar one from Bath & Body Works and I use it all the time. These little tins last forever. I've had mine for several years and it is maybe half empty. I have also heard good things about LA Fresh, so I'm pleased to have a sample... even a small one.
In regards to the Freeman scrub, thanks for pointing out that it is a facial scrub. I thought it was the whole body. That size should yield several uses. I just hope it doesn't dry out between uses.
And as a final note... Supergoop. Never heard of it, but highly amused by the name!
May next month be better!
I have yet to subscribe to this one but honestly after seeing what you have been getting I am in no way interested in ordering it unless it gets better. I hope it gets better.
ReplyDeleteI have heard nothing but bad things about this box! The best quality seems to be the pretty coloured packaging. I hope it gets better for your sake!!
